OTR Carry, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, joins the long-standing tradition of Everyday Carry (EDC) companies dedicated to enhancing the tools used daily. From knives to bottle openers, EDC brands strive to improve the user experience within the simplest of tools.
The Bolt Pen was a long-awaited project for the OTR Carry team, and over 20 weeks spread across 2025, their first scripting tool was crafted.

A Tool Worth Carrying
In 2024, OTR Carry saw a flaw within the EDC sector: users were spending so much on their tools that they feared using them. Two years later, the brand established a
full line of EDC products with durable materials and reliable design, with one common goal: giving tools the wear and tear they deserves.
Prototype Photography
In December 2025, the first OTR Carry Bolt Pen prototype was transported to Boulder, Colorado, for a professional photo shoot, bringing the first version of the pen
under a lens for the first time in preparation for the manufacturing process and eventual release.
